Benton PD Searching For Pickaxe Robbery Suspect

    On 11/18/13, at approximately 5:20 AM, officers responded to the Wal-Mart Supercenter (17309 I-30) on report of a theft.  Upon their arrival, they were informed by store employees that a suspect had used force to steal an unknown amount of merchandise. 

Detectives Make Two Arrests In Relation To Vandalism At The Benton Sports Complex

    On 11/11/13, at approximately 4:00 PM, a detective with the Benton Police Department developed information that led him to a possible suspect in the recent vandalism at the Benton Sports Complex. The suspect, later identified as Nicholas McCutcheon (20 YOA) of Benton, was located and interviewed in relation to the incident.

Benton PD Looking For Suspect For Attempted Armed Robbery

On 11/7/13, at approximately 10:29 PM, officers responded to the Home Run Gas Station (1415 Military Road) on report of an attempted robbery.  Upon arrival, they made contact with the owner of the business who informed them a suspect had just tried to rob the store.

  

Benton Attorney Pleads Guilty To Federal Drug Conspiracy-Related Charges

    LITTLE ROCK- Christopher R. Thyer, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas announced Dustin Dyer, of Benton, pled guilty before United States District Judge James M. Moody to the use of a cell phone to facilitate the commission of an offense of conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
