On 2/27/14, detectives with the Benton Police Department took a report of a possible rape involving a female juvenile victim. During the investigation, evidence indicated that a rape had taken place and that there was possibly another juvenile victim involved.

On 2/26/14, at approximately 8:20 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to an accident call on the I-30 North Service Road near Sharon Road. Upon their arrival it was determined it was a roll-over accident with injury and the driver was transported to the hospital.
