Benton Police Department announced today a new warrant initiative entitled “It’s a Sweetheart of a Deal.” The month-long program, aimed at reducing the number of active warrants, will take place throughout February.

On 12/7/2017 at approximately 11:53 AM, Officers with the Benton Police Department responded to an address on Alcoa Road for a report of an unresponsive infant. Upon arriving, Officers requested Benton Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division to respond due to suspected child abuse.

Recently, Lt. Don Robertson and Lt. Brian Bigelow of the Benton Police Department completed an advanced criminal justice course of study offered through the Criminal Justice Institute in Little Rock.
