Benton Police Department launched today a month-long drug abuse awareness campaign. “You Use You Lose” will equip citizens with information and action steps aimed at reducing drug abuse and overdose and will culminate with an Rx Take Back event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at Ferguson’s Furniture in Benton.

BNPD February Warrant Initiative a Sweeping Success
Benton, Ark.- March 2, 2018— Benton Police Department’s February warrant initiative was a sweeping success according to Chief Scotty Hodges. The initiative, entitled “It’s a Sweetheart of a Deal,” offered individuals with misdemeanor warrants the opportunity to turn themselves in and receive a new court date without jail time.
