Benton Police Department is pleased to announce its 21^st year of participation in the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) grant program.

The Benton Police Department, with the assistance of the United States Secret Service, is investigating multiple counterfeit currency cases that have occurred in Benton throughout 2019. As of September, there have been 241 counterfeit bills of various denominations passed in the city this year. BNPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying the persons responsible.
