OFFICERS INVESTIGATE SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE AND ARREST TWO FOR FELONY DRUG CHARGES

On 12/25/14, at approximately 2:30 am, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the area of Stonewall Dr. on report of a resident in area observing a suspicious person in the area trying to open car doors.
On 12/26/14, at approximately 4:03 am, officers with the Benton Police Department observed a vehicle parked in the Bank of the Ozarks parking lot (Alcoa Rd. branch) with the engine running.
On 12/20/14, at approximately 8:54 pm, officers took a report regarding an attempted robbery. According to the reporting party, two suspects attempted to rob him at gunpoint near Sunset Lake on Henry Street earlier on 12/20.

On 12/21/14, at approximately 11:10 pm, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to a disturbance call in the area of Hiland Street. Upon their arrival they made contact with two individuals who had been involved in the disturbance.
