BNPD: THREE ARRESTED AFTER MULTIPLE SHOPLIFTING INCIDENTS

Following a Tuesday report of shoplifting at the Benton Walmart, BNPD officers arrested three suspects after they attempted to shoplift at the same location on Wednesday morning. Officers had received information that at least two of the suspects were persons of interest in similar incidents in surrounding jurisdictions, filling carts with unpaid merchandise before exiting the store.

Undercover officers were present in the area during the time of the second Benton Walmart incident and were able to take the suspects into custody without incident. Chakila Henderson, 29, Iesha Mack, 32, and Johnny Russell, 50, all of North Little Rock, were charged with Theft of Property- Class D Felony. Russell was charged with an additional misdemeanor Theft of Property, and Mack was charged with Non-Financial Identity Fraud.
