BNPD officers responded to Interstate 30 at the Carpenter Street overpass just before 4 p.m. Wednesday in reference to a pedestrian in the roadway. Upon arrival, officers discovered a female victim suffering from fatal injuries. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. No identification is being released pending notification of next of kin.
The BNPD Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene and assumed the investigation which remains ongoing. No foul play is suspected.
