Recently, Lt. Jeff Kling of the Benton Police Department completed an advanced criminal justice course of study offered through the Criminal Justice Institute in Little Rock.
On Tuesday, December 16th, law enforcement officers from Saline County will participate in the Shop With Our Cops program at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Benton. This program was started in 1998 by the Saline County Chaplains Association in conjunction with local police agencies.

The Benton Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing runaway juvenile. The missing juvenile, Adriana Anzalone (17 YOA), was reported missing on December 9th and she was last heard from on December 6th.

On 12/9/14, at approximately 10:22 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on the North I-30 Service Road under the South St. overpass, which is designated as one-way for westbound traffic only.
