Benton Police Arrest Two, Still Searching for Third in Home Invasion Robbery

 Dustin MaysDetectives with the Benton Police Department have arrested two suspects in the home invasion robbery that took place on 7/31/10.  The incident took place at 3319 Silica Heights Rd. and involved the aggravated robbery of a 73 year old female at gunpoint.

    The two suspects that were arrested are Frankie Glover (W/M, 28 yoa) and Alexia Frederick (W/F, 19 yoa).  Both were charged with Aggravated Robbery (Y-Felony), Kidnapping (Y-Felony), Hindering Apprehension (B-Felony), and Aggravated Residential Burglary (Y-Felony).  Both suspects were transported to the Saline County Detention Facility for processing. 

    A third suspect, Dustin Mays (W/M, 25 yoa), is still being sought by the Benton Police Department.  Mays has felony warrants for Aggravated Robbery (Y-Felony), Kidnapping (Y-Felony), Criminal Impersonation (D-Felony), and Aggravated Residential Burglary (Y-Felony).  Both suspects were transported to the Saline County Detention Facility for processing. 

    Dustin Mays is believed to be in the central Arkansas area and should be considered armed and dangerous.  Extreme caution should be taken with anyone coming into contact with him, and it’s advised to contact your local police agency if you know his whereabouts. 

    Benton Police do not think this was a random act of violence due to one or more of the suspect’s relationship to the victim.  Detectives are currently diligently working on this case and anybody with information about it is encouraged to contact the Benton Police Department at 778-1171 or 315-TIPS. 

 
Benton Police Arrest Suspect in Numerous Burglaries

    The Benton Police Department arrested Timothy Ravion (B/M, 8-23-81) for crimes dating back to 2008. 

    Ravion was initially arrested on a warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.  Detectives developed information on Mr. Ravion that linked him to nine commercial burglaries of churches throughout the city dating back to early 2008.

Benton Police Arrest Four on Numerous Charges

 On 7/29/10, at approximately 11:07 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department apprehended four individuals on numerous felony and misdemeanor charges. 

    Ofc. Bobby Shell was on patrol when he noticed a vehicle and lights in the New Rosemont Cemetery on Military Road.  Ofc. Shell went to investigate the vehicle and made contact with an individual, later identified as Michael Abshure (30 yoa) of Kirby.  After speaking with Abshure briefly, Abshure then suddenly ran away in the direction of McDonald’s on Military Road. 

    While running from officers, Mr. Abshure threw a .380 caliber pistol and a backpack.  Officers caught up Mr. Abshure in the parking lot of McDonald’s where he was taken into custody.  Abshure was found to be in possession of numerous sets of car keys and methamphetamine.
