On 3/13/13, officers arrested a suspect, identified as Lisa Wright (W/F, 37 YOA), off a traffic stop after determining that she was involved in numerous property crimes. Through investigative work the officers were able to determine that Ms. Wright was in possession of items that had been reported stolen.
Ms. Wright was taken into custody and transported to the Saline County Detention Facility for processing. She is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 9 counts of Theft by Receiving, 8 counts of Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons (Felon), and Driving on Suspended.
During the course of the investigation, two additional suspects were identified and are now being sought. The suspects are Kenneth Hawkins (W/M, 42 YOA) and Jason Tanner (W/M, 33 YOA), and both now have warrants for Residential Burglary, 12 counts of Theft of Property, 11 counts of Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons, and Criminal Mischief. Additionally, both Hawkins and Tanner are on parole out of the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections.
This is an on-going investigation and additional charges could be forthcoming in the near future. Hawkins and Tanner are believed to still be in Arkansas and anyone who comes into contact with them should contact their local police agency.
