Benton Police Department officers responded just after 1 a.m. Thursday to a report of two gunshot victims being treated at a local hospital. Upon arrival, officers discovered two adult victims had sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Twenty-seven-year-old Brandon Sander of Benton has been taken into custody and is facing charges of Battery 1st (two counts) and Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons. BNPD Criminal Investigations Division detectives have assumed the investigation, which remains ongoing. Additional charges may be forthcoming.
