BNPD ARREST MAN FOR ALLEGEDLY WAVING GUN AT TENANTS

King Carl editedA Benton man faces multiple charges after allegedly waving a gun at multiple tenants. At approximately 12:09 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, officers responded to a home in the 1500 block of Bradberry for a disturbance with weapons call. 
 
Upon arrival, four witnesses claimed that 62-year-old Carl D. King, Jr. appeared in the home and yelled at them to leave while waving around a pistol in his hand. The witnesses said they felt threatened that King would harm them and they left to call police.  
 
King told officers that he entered the home and asked the people inside to leave, but denied having a firearm in possession at the time. While taken into custody, King was found possessing suspected marijuana and a pipe. King is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and four counts of aggravated assault.
