The Benton Police Department is investigating the robbery of First Security Bank located at 1403 Military Road.

On September 6th, at approximately 12:16 PM, officers responded to a report of a robbery that had just taken place at the bank.  The suspect is described as being a white male and approximately 6’ tall.  He was seen wearing a camouflage T-shirt, blue jeans, brown work boots, camouflage hat, black ‘ski mask’, dark colored sunglasses, black gloves, and a tan ‘courier style’ satchel.

The suspect did display a pistol during the robbery and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.  He was last seen on foot running towards the Hastings parking lot, located at 1421 Military Rd., immediately after leaving the bank.

 

 

According to witnesses he was last seen driving a 4-door almond or off white colored Hyundai car.  The vehicle was believed to be an early-mid 2000’s model vehicle.
