Benton Police Arrest Three Suspects for Residential Burglary Print

On 6/10/12, at approximately 3:30 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to 3316 Silica Heights on report of a burglary.  Officers made contact with witnesses who said they saw three subjects break into the residence and then leave the area.

After making contact with the home owner it was determined that approximately $1,200 worth of electronics had been stolen from the residence.  Entry to the home was gained through the forceful entry of the front door.

Officers were able to make a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle related to the incident and made contact with three individuals riding inside.  The three suspects were identified as Shawna Dobbs, Bobby Spencer, and Harold Johnson.  After interviewing the suspects and the speaking with witnesses all three suspects were taken into custody.

 

 

 

All three suspects were each individually charged with Residential Burglary (C Felony), Theft of Property (D Felony), and Obstruction of Governmental Operations (C Misdemeanor).  Additionally, Bobby Spencer was charged with Criminal Mischief 1st Degree (A Misdemeanor), and Harold Johnson is a registered sex offender out of Pulaski County.  They were all transported to the Saline County Detention Facility for processing.
