Detectives with the Benton Police Department have made an additional arrest in the death of Joe Lee Richards Jr.  Myra Terry (W/F, 53 YOA) has been charged in addition to Marissa Wright who is charged with Capital Murder in the case. 

    Terry, who is a live-in home healthcare worker, was arrested without incident on a warrant generated from this on-going investigation.   She is being charged with Hindering Apprehension during the investigation of a missing person and homicide of Joe Lee Richards Jr. from Oct. 8th, 2010 to today’s date.  Terry is additionally charged with Abuse of a Corpse and Tampering with Evidence.  She is currently incarcerated at the Saline County Detention Facility awaiting a bond trial. 

    This investigation is on-going which could result in additional charges on Terry and Wright.  Other parties associated with this crime could also be charged at a future date.  Investigators believe that there are other individuals that have information on this case and they are strongly encouraged to come forward at this time.  Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Benton Police Department at 778-1171 or 315-TIPS.
