Once again football season is in full swing and along with it comes the legions of fans. Unfortunately, we have received a few complaints dealing Some of the most commonly violated parking laws include: • Parking on a sidewalk or within an intersection The above referenced laws are not all inclusive of parking violations. They are some of the most commonly observed violations seen by officers. Officers will continue to enforce parking laws in all areas of the city and violators could be issued a citation if they are violating the law. If you are blocking a fire hydrant or driveway there is the potential that your vehicle could be towed in addition to receiving a citation. It is our desire that by spreading the word about this problem we will have voluntary compliance from everyone without enforcement action being taken. If you have any questions concerning this issue you’re encouraged to contact the Benton Police Department at 778-1171. |
