The Benton Police Department is investigating recent thefts of approximately 100 vases from monuments at New Rosemont Cemetery located on Military Road. 

    Thefts of the vases were noticed by cemetery caretakers approximately a month ago, but recently there has been an increase in the number taken.  In addition to stealing approximately 100 copper vases there have been 3 markers taken as well.

    Detectives with the Benton Police Department are diligently working leads in this case.  If anyone has information related to these thefts they are encouraged to contact the Benton Police Department at 778-1171 or they can leave information at 315-TIPS.
