On April 22, at approximately 12:22 PM, officers responded to Applebee’s Restaurant, located at 17348 I-30, on report of a disturbance with a weapon call.  While in-route to the call officers were informed that a subject had pulled a gun on somebody in the parking lot and then fled the area with another subject in a red truck.

Officers were able to locate the truck on Interstate 30 heading towards Little Rock and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.  The two suspects, Teamons Denton (W/M, 21 YOA) and Seth Collier (W/M, 21 YOA), were then taken into custody without incident.  Denton was found to be in possession of a firearm during the time of arrest.

Denton was charged with Aggravated Assault (Felony) and Seth Collier was charged with Public Intoxication.  If anyone has more information relating to this incident they are encouraged to contact the Benton Police Department at 778-1171 or 315-TIPS.
