The 1st Polar Plunge in Saline County for Special Olympics is being held Saturday, January 15th, 2011 at Hurricane Lake Estates in Benton.  Officers from the Benton and Bryant Police Departments along with deputies from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in this event. The event is open to everyone in the community and not just law enforcement.  The plunge registration starts at 10:00 AM and the plungers take to the water at 11:00 AM.

Law enforcement officers across the nation are the largest single contributors to Special Olympics and all of their year-round events they provide.  100 percent of the donations to this event go to Special Olympics Arkansas and stay in the state for our athletes.
