| Benton Police Arrest Two Suspects for Residential Burglary |

On 1/5/11, at approximately 4:17 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to 5224 Valhalla Dr. on report of a burglary in progress. Upon their arrival they made contact with a witness who said she observed two subjects inside the residence stealing items.
Officers were able to locate the two suspects, later identified as Nicholas Shaw (W/M, 22 YOA) and a juvenile. During their investigation, officers were able to determine that the two suspects had broken into the residence on Valhalla and stolen some items. Some of the items were later recovered by officers. Both subjects were charged with Residential Burglary and Theft of Property, and Shaw was additionally charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. The juvenile was turned over to juvenile officers and Shaw was transported to the Saline County Detention Facility.
