On 1/3/11, at approximately 12:54 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to a burglary in progress call at 1616 Pinecroft Drive. The homeowner reported that he observed a vehicle backed up in his driveway and that a suspect was in his storage shed.  Prior to officer’s arrival the suspect fled from the scene. 

     The suspect was driving a 2000 model Chevrolet Trailblazer displaying Arkansas license plate number: 510 POE.  The suspect in the case is Frank Thomas Otis (W/M, 11-14-67) and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.  The warrant is for Criminal Attempt to Commit Residential Burglary and Breaking or Entering.  Otis also has an active absconder warrant out of probation and parole.
