On 9/17/14, detectives with the Benton Police Department received information about a stolen Palomino Puma Camper.  The camper was valued at approximately $25,000 and had been stolen from Gilbert Auto Sales during the early morning hours on July 13th.

Detectives were able to setup an undercover sting to purchase the camper later on the evening of 9/17 from two suspects, identified as Justin Caple (37 YOA) and Justin Bramlett (35 YOA).  After making contact with Caple and Bramlett, detectives were able to take them both into custody without incident.  Bramlett was also found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia at the time of his arrest.

Information and evidence obtained from the suspects led detectives to another co-conspirator in the case, Kristen Morris (34 YOA). Morris was subsequently arrested without incident.

Caple and Morris were both charged with Theft by Receiving.  Bramlett was charged with Theft by Receiving, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  The investigation is on-going and additional arrests and charges are expected.
