BURGLARY IN PROGRESS CALL LEADS TO TWO ARRESTS

Adie-McCormickCollage2    On 1/13/14, officers were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress call at 122 B King Street.  Upon arrival, officers made contact with two individuals who were leaving the residence in a vehicle.  
 
    While speaking to the victim it was determined items had been stolen from the residence.  The two suspects, later identified as Patience Adie (32 YOA) and Shauna McCormick (31 YOA), were familiar with the residence and McCormick had lived there at one time.  Both were subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Saline County Detention Facility for processing.  
 
    Adie is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, in relation to items found in their vehicle, and McCormick is charged with Residential Burglary.  This is an on-going investigation and additional charges could be possible.
