On August 31st, at approximately 5:15 PM, officers responded to a residence on Lillian Street upon report of a disturbance with a weapon. Upon their arrival they made contact with the victim who reported they had been threatened by a suspect with a razor.
Officers then made contact with the suspect in the case, identified as James Gideon (W/M, 24 YOA), in the vicinity of the residence. Gideon was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with Aggravated Assault and for warrants out of Faulkner County.
Gideon was transported to the Saline County Detention Facility for processing without incident. This is an on-going investigation and additional charges could be forthcoming in this case.
