On 8/21/13, at approximately 2:45 PM, officers responded to the 800 Block of S. Summit Road on report of a vehicle theft in progress. While in route, officers received descriptions and were able to locate the vehicle and suspects in question.
Officers made contact with the three suspects who were identified as; Zachary Bearden (W/M, 20 YOA), Delbert Wilson (W/M, 43 YOA), and Mistie Griffin (W/F, 37 YOA). Wilson and Griffin have addresses in Traskwood and Bearden in Sherwood.
During their investigation, officers were able to determine the vehicle was stolen and subsequently all three suspects were placed under arrest. All three suspects were charged with Theft of Property (Felony) and additional charges will be forthcoming as the investigation continues. Griffin also had active warrants out of other agencies at the time of her arrest and Wilson is an active parolee out of the Arkansas Department of Community Correction.
