Fraud Call Leads to Robbery Arrest

    On 1/1/14, at approximately 7:58 PM, officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart (17309 I-30) on report of a fraud report.  Prior to officer’s arrival, they were informed the suspect had left the store and was in the parking lot.  

 

    Upon their arrival, officers located the suspect, later identified as Keith Bell (49 YOA), walking though the parking lot.  They attempted to stop Bell, but he took off running from them on foot.  Officers eventually caught Bell and he was taken into custody after a brief scuffle.  

 

    Evidence and information gathered indicated that Bell fraudulently attempted to return items to the store prior to contact with officers.  Bell is charged with Robbery, Fleeing, and Public Intoxication.  Additionally, Bell is an active parolee out of the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections.
