DISTURBANCE WITH A WEAPON CALL LEADS TO ARREST

SelenaHensonOn 5/10/15, at approximately 6:37 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to Hurrican Lake Mobile Home Park (3025 Hwy 5 N.) on report of a disturbance with a weapon call.  
 
Upon their arrival, officers made contact with the suspect in the case, identified as Selena Henson (50 YOA) of Benton. According to Henson, she was involved in a verbal argument with the victims, but she never threatened anyone with a weapon.  
 
Officers then made contact with the victims in the case, who said Henson was in a verbal argument with them whenever she pulled a pistol out and threatened them.  A pistol was found in Henson’s possession and was seized for evidence in the case.  
 
Henson was then placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Saline County Detention Facility for processing.  Henson was charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Assault and 1 count of Terroristic Threatening. This is an on-going investigation and additional charges could be forthcoming.
